Outreach and Community Service

Over the Wall Events include a variety of experiences that enable our congregation to connect directly with people in the community.  Please contact the Pastor if you have any suggestions regarding opportunities where we can use the skills, love, and time of our many hands.

The Hurting World Offering is received on the fourth Sunday of every month.  The money that is collected goes to help alleviate poverty and hunger around the world.

The Donation Station is located in the entry way of the church.  You may place your donations of clothing in this cabinet.  We do ask that all items donated be placed in bags or boxes.  Clothing donations are given to In The Image, an independent, faith-based, ecumenical 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  They give gently used clothing, furniture and appliances to families in needArrangements for donating furniture and appliances need to be made directly with In The Image. They do not accept toys.

Non-perishable food donations are sent to The Pantry.  They can be placed in the shopping cart in our church foyer.  While each month may have a specific need, any non-perishable food items are accepted.  St. Paul's also provides volunteers to staff the food pantry on the third Thursday of the month from 6 to 9 pm.

The Donation Station is available during regular office hours and on Sunday mornings.  Please contact the church office for more information.

The Hunger Walk is sponsored by Access of West Michigan the first Saturday in May.  St. Paul's supports this worthy cause with walkers, pledges and volunteers.
